This lovely award winning architect's home has been converted into a welcoming space by Marion and Scott. Rooms are large, comfortable and spacious, with a lovely sea view from the adjoining upper deck. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. A great start to a day of exploring the breathtaking geological sites in the area that have now been given UNESCO status.

Cape Chignecto Park is just a short scenic drive (less that an hour) from the Inn. Ocean kayaking is an option from nearby Advocate Harbour.

Beautiful property and the BEST BREAKFAST and coffee!! Also loved meeting Molly. I originally booked for the hot tub which was slightly misleading but I wasn't disappointed because the Jacuzzi was super fun to use and a nice addition to the space. The common room was a great place to relax and read a book and unwind without having to stay in your room. The patio area upstairs was also great with a fantastic view of the bay!
Tips for other travellers
Other than enjoying the delicious breakfast at the Inn, the Wild Caraway restaurant was DELICIOUS! And lots of nice beach to walk along in the area, or up at Cape Chignecto. You don't have to do the whole trail to enjoy a day there.

The owners of the Inn are very down to earth couple, and are very proud of their Inn. They are, without question, very focused on making sure that their guests are well taken care of. The Inn is beautiful, and exceptionally clean. Marion (owner) who also cooks and bakes is highly skilled, and she has really taken the time to provide a breakfast menu that has exceptional options and is included during your stay. My favorite food item was her Veggie Frittata, homemade Rye bread and her blueberry preserves. In my opinion, the level of cooking skills are a 10 out of 10 (5 stars). The grounds are very well kept. There is a vegetable garden area, beautiful flowers, shrubs, and the smell of our Nova Scotia wild roses. If you are a star gazer, like myself, there is a large porch where you can sit, relax, and see so many stars, and not a sound to be heard. I rate this Inn a 5 Star.

My stay was September 11-13th, 2020,

Thank you Fox Point Inn,
